What is Nav-O?

• NAVO is an exciting orienteering challenge for all Scouts,
Venturers, Sea Scouts, Explorers, and adult leaders to enjoy at
Bert Adams Scout Camp (sorry, no Cubs or AOLs).

• Each team gets a 5-color map for each participant 2 minutes
before their race starting time. There are 30 markers (controls)
shown on the map, and you must find as many as you can in 2
hours. Some are easy to find and some are harder. Each control is
worth 10, 20, 30, or 40 points, depending on the distance from
the start or terrain difficulty.

• For every minute past the 2 hour time limit, you lose 10 points. So
plan your strategy carefully and manage your time effectively!
